In the beginning…
Over 26 years ago, Darryl Geitz founded the company known today as PJT Accountants and Business Advisors. Working with expert partners over the years, Geitz established the business, Darryl Geitz & Associates, which provided accounting services to businesses on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
In 2003, Wayne Patten joined the firm as a partner with Geitz, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge an a range of specialisations including business advisory services and the hotel industry.
The following year, Jodie Thompson and Melanie Jacobson joined the firm as partners to complete the dynamic team. Jodie, a well travelled and experienced accountant with years of management experience complemented the inclusion of Melanie Jacobson. Melanie, is an expert in Superannuation and retirement strategies.
In 2005, Geitz entered retirement and PJT Accountants & Business Advisors was born, bringing with it a new direction and new leadership.
