Renee Corkill - Senior Accountant

Qualifications: Bachelor of Business Accounting and currently studying CPA.

Area of Expertise: Superannuation, Self Managed Superannuation Funds, and Estate Planning.

Career Overview: Renee began her accounting career in December 2003 with PJT Business Professionals (before the name was changed to PJT Accountants & Business Advisors). A high achiever who enjoys a challenge, she has since completed her Accounting degree and is studying to be a CPA.  Specialising in Superannuation, Renee has developed many long standing relationships with her clients.

Life outside of PJT: Renee enjoys holidaying, camping, bbq’s, spending time at the beach, playing netball and socialising with friends.

Allister Pohle - Senior Accountant

Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce, Certified Practising Accountant (C.P.A.)

Area of Expertise: Taxation – High Distinction achieved in C.P.A. Taxation module in 2002 and again in 2006.

Career Overview: Allister commenced his Accounting career in 1999. After obtaining a solid grounding in Taxation and Business Services, in 2002 Allister worked in a Senior Accountant role for a second tier Accounting firm. Two years later, Allister was appointed to a permanent position as a Senior Regulatory Accountant within the world's largest Investment Bank in London, where he was promoted to an Assistant Vice Principal role managing other accountants. In 2006, Allister took a Management role under Wayne Patten at PJT.

Life outside of PJT: Enjoying the water and sunshine, Allister is an avid surfer and is often found fishing the estuaries, rivers and surrounding ocean. Other interests include watching sport and keeping fit.

Matt Dunn - Client Manager & Accountant

Qualifications: Bachelor of Business (Information Systems), CPA, Commissioner of Declarations.

Area of Expertise: All areas of taxation compliance including business advisory, fringe benefits tax and tax advice.

Career Overview: After 6 years experience in public practice in one of the world's largest accounting firms, KPMG, Matt had gained experience in nearly all areas of public practice including tax compliance, tax planning, business advisory services and auditing. With this strong background, Matt sought new challenges and started with PJT in October 2009, strengthening his business advisory skills.

Life outside of PJT: Matt enjoys time with family and friends whenever possible, AFL, computer games and travelling overseas.

Phillip Maley - Accountant

Qualifications: Bachelor of Business Accounting, Certified Practising Accountant (C.P.A.)

Area of Expertise: Assisting Client’s with all their accounting and processing needs from accounting software setup to meeting Business structuring objectives.

Career Overview: After completing his Accounting degree in 2004, Philip has since gained a solid grounding working as an Accountant on the Sunshine Coast. Excelling in his field, Philip has recently completed a CPA program all the while working at PJT as a Senior Accountant.

Life outside of PJT: A keen sportsmen Philip manages to find time in every day for a swim, run or a surf at Wurtulla beach in his lunch break much to the amazement of the PJT crew. A promising boxer, Philip is ranked second in Queensland in the Qld Amateur Boxing Association. In his down time, he enjoys socialising with friends, a weekend game of golf and a quality BBQ.

Brett Liebenberg - Accountant

Area of Expertise: Auditing, Compliance and Tax Planning.

Career Overview: Brett provides a high quality service to Wayne Patten and his clients. Brett has used his knowledge from previous positions to build on his experience as an Accountant.

Life outside of PJT: Brett enjoys surfing, wakeboarding, skiing, go karting, tennis, soccer, car racing, hockey and socialising with family and friends.

Luke Gozzard - Accountant

Qualifications: Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Financial Planning)

Area of Expertise: Small to Medium size business financials, individual tax returns and GST compliance.  Luke has also gained experience in the Management Rights industry including the preparation of Due Diligence reports and trust account audits.

Career Overview: Luke has a previous 6 years work experience in the Royal Australian Air Force.  In 2007 he completed his undergraduate studies and began working in the accounting field.  Luke joined PJT in November 2009 and is currently working within Melanie's team.

Life outside of PJT: To maintain an active lifestyle, Luke's interests include surfing, wakeboarding and keeping fit.
